I’m a learning professional with 9 years of experience designing and delivering impactful learning programs across diverse formats and industries.

I thrive in collaborative environments and have successfully worked with cross-functional subject matter experts to produce a variety of learning materials and experiences, including eLearnings, microlearning courses, instructor-led trainings, product demos, job aids, and more.

One of my specialties is breaking down complex, often technical topics, whether that’s cybersecurity best practices, the intricacies of prepping a patient for surgery, or even, from my time as a high school teacher, analyzing the use of iambic pentameter in poetry. Doing this is dependent on being able to put myself in my learner’s shoes, to approach learning design with empathy—and, of course, leveraging instructional design models like ADDIE and backward design to create with the end in mind.

I don't just create learning experiences and hand them off to my SMEs or learners to implement. Instead, I further ensure their success through clear and proactive communication, helping to manage the change that is often associated with learning.

Prioritizing accessibility and equity in learning materials is also central to my approach. Whether facilitating virtual or in-person instructor-led trainings or presenting updates to project stakeholders, I incorporate DEIAB best practices so everyone can access the information and feel safe and welcome.
